There has not been a single public meeting on Orcas Island to
address the East Orcas Water Supply issues since the committees was
formed.

The second column shows the publication deadline with the local paper.
After the committee was formed, not a single meeting announcement was
made public in time.
Preliminary versions of the report have been available since last
summer. It has only been on the county
web site since Feb 1, 2006.
I brought this up at several meetings, although some people do not
remember.
The record speaks for itself.
I tried to announce public meetings for last week. My caolumn was
printed, but the first paragraph
