The following are resources on water measurement. No particular order to
these....

1) Article on use of a manometer on 90° elbows to estimate flow -- This file
is 7+MB, still want it?

2) Link to the United State Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) web site for design
of ramp flumes (low cost, relatively easy to construct, adaptable to
difference channel X-sections.) This site also lists commercially available
ramp flumes.

3) Ecology staff:
Brad Hopkins 360-407-6686
Stream gaging

4) USBR engineering staff:
Jeff Peterson 208-378-5093
Practical aspects of open channel flow measurement
Located in Boise and hard to get ahold of

Brian Sauer 208-334-1750
Practical aspects of open channel flow measurement

Tony Wahl 303-445-2155
Both open channel and closed conduit flow measurement
National expert on ramp flumes & Winflume software and relatively easy to
get ahold of

5) Link to the water resource technician training at Spokane Community
College
